Pal Arinsal secures its presence on the Mountain Bike World Cup calendar for 2025 and 2026

The UCI and Warner Bros Discovery confirm Andorra and La Massana as hosts of the UCI MTB World Series for two more years following the success of this summer's World Championships.

The competition will bring together the world’s best riders in Olympic cross-country, short track, and downhill, both in Elite and U23 categories, from July 9 to 13, 2025.

The UCI MTB World Series will return to Pal Arinsal. Warner Bros Discovery and the UCI announced this afternoon the 2025 World Cup calendar, which highlights the return of the la Massana station after the success of organizing the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships this summer. The renewed agreement with Warner Bros Discovery and the UCI also includes the 2026 edition, bringing Andorra to host the 10th and 11th editions of the Mountain Bike World Cup over the next two years. This milestone further strengthens Pal Arinsal’s commitment to organizing major international events, having already hosted nine editions of the World Cup and two editions of the World Championships.
“La Massana has become a regular stop on the international MTB calendar. We have been working on this national project for more than fifteen years, establishing ourselves as a reference and a classic in the World Cup, an event that brings the world’s best riders and thousands of spectators every summer,” says La Massana's Mayor, Eva Sansa.

It is worth noting that this new agreement would not have been possible without the support of Andorra Tourism, the great efforts of the Comu of La Massana, and private sponsors, which allow EMAP to organize these events. Moreover, the excellent work of everyone involved in recent editions has left a very positive impression on the UCI, the cyclists, and their teams, ensuring that the station continues to be a must-stop on the UCI MTB World Series calendar.
“Pal Arinsal, La Massana, and Andorra deserve to be on the calendar, and this has been recognized by the UCI and Warner Bros Discovery, who consider us a reference on the world circuit due to our historical track record, the high level of satisfaction among athletes and teams when they visit Andorra, and our commitment to organizational excellence,” says David Hidalgo, general manager of SETAP365.

The 10th edition of the World Cup from July 9 to 13, 2025

After two consecutive years in which Andorra became the world epicentre of mountain biking during the last week of August for the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 World Championships, the major summer event will return in July for its 10th edition, from July 9 to 13, 2025, with training days early in the week and the finals starting on Friday as usual. Once again, the world’s best riders will gather in the Principality to compete for the overall classification of the UCI MTB World Series in the traditional disciplines of Olympic cross-country (XCO), short track (XCC), and downhill (DHI), both in Elite and U23 categories. The production company responsible for the broadcast will be Discovery Channel, as it has been for the last two years, ensuring even higher visibility than previous World Cup editions. Pal Arinsal will be the 11th stop on the 2025 UCI MTB World Series calendar out of 15 scheduled across all disciplines and will be the last before the summer break, which will last for a month.

Therefore, once the winter season ends, Pal Arinsal will once again prepare to welcome thousands of spectators who, over two years, will come to experience one of the world’s greatest two-wheeled spectacles live. As for the 2026 edition, the station is also confirmed in the UCI MTB World Series calendar, with dates yet to be determined.
