Children's Ski School

The children's schools located at the ski resort are the best way to get your little ones to take their first steps on the slopes. Pal Arinsal offers two services: the children's garden and the snow garden.

Kids Programme

The Kids Programme is specially designed to give children their first skiing experience, helping them develop their ability and skills through a fun and interesting learning process. 

This programme combines skiing with other open-air activities and is suitable for children between the ages of 3 and 11.

Observations:

  • This programme is run with the help of a team of specialised ski monitors, children's entertainers and mountain guides.
  • Programmes vary depending on the sector.
  • Opening times: reception from 9 am to 10 am; course: 10 am to 1 pm; lunch: 1 pm to 2 pm; activities: 2 pm to 4 pm / Collection: 4 pm.
  • Prices do not include skiing equipment or ski passes.
  • Disciplines: Alpine skiing and snowboarding.
  • (*) KIDS PROGRAMME 1 DAY: comprised of a three-hour private class for your child. 

Activities:

  • Sledding, snow tubing, big airbag, children’s zip line, snowshoeing, footprint hunt and igloos.
  • Activities depend on the weather and sector and are subject to change.

Activity start:

Classes start on Mondays and Saturdays for 15-, 12- and 9-hour courses, and on Saturdays for six-hour courses.

Snow Garden

Pal Arinsal is home to two snow gardens, suitable for children between the ages of three and five, which are the perfect place for them to get accustomed to the snow. These play areas allow children to discover the magic of snow while having as much fun as possible doing what they know best: playing, exploring and experimenting. 

The snow gardens can be found in Caubella in Pal and in the Comallemple area of Arinsal. The two snow gardens are located at the foot of the slopes, helping you ski at ease knowing that your children are having as good a time as you are, while being cared for by a team of specialised monitors.

Make sure your kids are wearing warm clothes and come with their ski equipment, as the snow gardens are outdoors.

  • 3 years old children receive an introduction and adaptation to snow with ski lessons, games, and activities.
  • Children between 4 and 5 years old will have fun and entertaining skiing lessons in a specially dedicated area.

  • This half-day service is available in the mornings from 10 am to 1 pm, or in the afternoons from 2 pm to 5 pm, depending on availability.

Children's garden

The children's garden is the nursery at Pal Arinsal. Here kids will have a whale of a time while their parents are skiing. 

There are plenty of toys to play with and they’ll take part in craft workshops in a controlled area just for them, with constant supervision by our team of professionals. 

Make sure that your kids have a spare nappy and their own food, if necessary. Lunch is also available at an additional cost. Consult the conditions.

Observations:

  • In order to purchase a service, you must provide a document proving the age of the child; if they do not meet the age restriction, they will not be allowed to participate.
  • No children with symptoms of a contagious illness will be accepted in order to guarantee the well-being of the others. If the illness is not contagious, this must be verified by a doctor's note.
  • Lunch is not included in the price of the childcare service.
  • The children do not receive ski classes as part of this.
  • Childcare is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Parents may bring their children at any time during these hours. The half-day service is for three hours, while the full-day service is for six hours.
  • We recommend bringing the child's health card and family record book and a change of clothes, and they should wear comfortable clothing for outdoor activities. All diapers, cream, bottles, milk and baby food, if necessary, must be provided by the parents.
