Grandvalira Resorts offers 91 km of slopes

Grandvalira Resorts will offer 91 skiable kilometers over the next few days. Last Friday's snowfall and the low temperatures of the last few days, which have favored the production of growing snow, together with the exhaustive work of the technical teams on the ground, have enabled the Andorran ski resorts to confirm the opening of the slopes for Tuesday 5 December.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Ordino Arcalís and the Pas de la Casa sector of Grandvalira will be partially open, while from Wednesday 6 December the offer will be extended with the rest of the sectors and the Pal Arinsal resort.

40% of the slopes available

Pal Arinsal will open on Wednesday with 40% of the slopes and 71% of the facilities, meaning a total of 19 slopes and 22 lifts. In the Pal sector it will be possible to ski from la Caubella to Coll de la Botella, passing through the Cubil area, while in Arinsal it will be available from the base of the sector to the Les Fonts area. Therefore, during the first few days, the connection between the two sectors via the cable car will not be operational, and can be made with the bus line that will be set up between La Massana and Arinsal, which will be free of charge with any Grandvalira Resorts pass. The Pal Arinsal day pass for these first few days will have a reduced price of 39 euros, and can be purchased both at the ticket offices and on the resorts' online channels.

Ordino Arcalís reopens La Coma on Tuesday with the six-seater detachable chairlift, the Tristaina cable car and the Orris tele-ski, while on Wednesday another five lifts will come into operation, giving access to eight new slopes. In total, the Ordino resort will have 54% of its skiable kilometers in operation, as well as 50% of its facilities. The price of the day ski pass on Tuesday will remain at 30 euros and can only be purchased at the ticket offices, while on Wednesday it will be 39 euros and can also be purchased through Grandvalira Resorts' online channels.

Ski Pass Plus+ and Season Ski Pass

From this Wednesday, the Ski Pass Plus+ will be on sale, which allows you to enjoy every skiing day without having to go to the ticket office. This pass, valid for the whole winter season, is personal and non-transferable, and is paid for each day you ski in Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal or Ordino Arcalís. In addition, the Ski Pass Plus+ rewards each skiing trip with a 15% discount on the price of that day at the ticket offices, from the second day of skiing at the resort visited. It is worth remembering that the Forfait Plus+ is rechargeable, so those who have it from last season or the previous one can renew it through the MyGrandSki account and ski without going to the ticket office.

The Season Pass, Andorra Pass, Nord Pass and Mountain Pass, as well as the Extracurricular Passes, are still on sale at the ticket offices of the resorts, at the Grandvalira Resorts stand at the Illa Carlemany and through online channels. In this regard, it is important to note that non-residents in Andorra are still in the Promo sales period, which allows them to purchase season passes at a reduced price until 10 December.
