The winter season will have a strong opening on November 30 with 97% of the lifts and 89% of the slopes available to all skiers.

The resort will fulfil its opening forecasts and the season will open as predicted on November 30 with 97% of the lifts, 89% of slopes, 10 restaurants, 100% Ski Mountaineering and Snowshoe circuits and 100% of the many other snow activities open and ready to go. The resort will open with all the sectors connected including the lowest height Marrades runway open. Even though Marrades is the lowest point, dropping down to 1500m, it’s anticipated that this will remain open throughout the season.

The snowfall at the beginning of the month and the decrease in temperatures have meant the La Massana station in great condition. It will open with all the sectors connected: Pal, Coll de la Botella and Arinsal. Therefore, Vallnord – Pal Arinsal will begin a season of 136 days planned with depths of up to 60 cm. In total, the resort will open 89% of slopes and 97% of lifts. In the Pal sector, 100% of the slopes and ski lifts are open for customers to enjoy. In the Arinsal sector, 79% of slopes are open (15 of 19) with 91% that is, 10 of the 11 lifts operating.

The alternative activities to (downhill) skiing are also open with the Ski Mountaineering Circuits (7 circuits) and the Snowshoe Circuits (6 circuits) 100% available.

The resort begins the season strongly, with all the sectors connected and the Marrades slope open, which is great as this is at lowest point of the entire resort, reaching all the way to the foot of the slopes in the village of Arinsal at a height of 1500m. With the investments made prior to the beginning of the season, Vallnord – Pal Arinsal is confident it can guarantee this track will stay open throughout the season.

From the start, skiers can enjoy 97% of the slopes, that includes 12 of 13 activities offered in the Pal sector such as the Big Zip, Parc de Cordes, Sledding, among others. Visitors will, as always, be able to complete their experience with the amazing and varied dining options available from the 10 restaurants located across the different sectors: Pla de la Cot, Igloo Chalet, Coll de la Botella and many others. The resort also opens the same day as the traditional high mountain dinners in Pla de la Cot, where customers can access skiing, with retrack or walking.

The 136-day season opens on November 30 and will run until April 13, with the last day as per tradition free to all skiers.
